Question 1

What lighting effects can the Imager H 280 produce?

Accepted Answer

Imager H 280 can produce beam, spot and wash effects along with gobo and prism effects for dynamic stage lighting. Its 3–33° zoom range and combination of 13+1 fixed and 9+1 rotating gobos give lighting designers flexibility in creating focused beams, projections and visual effects.

Question 2

Is the Imager H 280 suitable for outdoor lighting applications?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Imager H 280 is suitable for selected outdoor stage and event applications thanks to its IP66-rated design. The enclosure provides protection against dust and water exposure, making the fixture suitable for outdoor environments where appropriate installation conditions are met.

Question 3

How does the 3–33° zoom range affect the lighting effect?

Accepted Answer

The 3–33° zoom range allows the Imager H 280 to adjust the beam from a narrow, concentrated effect to a wider coverage effect. This flexibility allows lighting designers to adapt the fixture to different distances, stage areas and visual effects without changing the fixture.

Question 4

What is the difference between beam, spot and wash effects on the Imager H 280?

Accepted Answer

Beam, spot and wash effects provide different levels of beam concentration and coverage for different lighting requirements. Beam effects create concentrated, high-impact light beams, spot effects provide focused projection and pattern effects, while wash effects provide broader and more even illumination.
